Meet the Instructor

Joy Jahandar has been a musician since the age of eight. It was clear to her parents she was gifted and they enrolled her in vocal lessons at age twelve. She was classically trained and mentored by globally known vocal instructors from age 12 to 24. She has won several state and national competitions as a vocal soloist and was in a state-winning trio ensemble during high school. She has traveled internationally to 18 European countries as part of a choral group and soloist and has sung for crowds of over 10,000. Her extensive training and knowledge of vocal techniques are desirable to those serious about singing.

Joy lives in Alabama with her husband and two boys and enjoys writing music, poetry, and gardening.
